Audacity

Audacity is a full-featured music editor licensed under the GPL. You can record sounds, play sounds, import and export WAV, AIFF, and MP3 files, and more. Use it to edit your sounds using Cut, Copy and Paste (with unlimited Undo), mix tracks together, or apply effects to your recordings. It also has a built-in amplitude envelope editor, a customizable spectrogram mode and a frequency analysis window for audio analysis applications. Built-in effects include Bass Boost, Wahwah, and Noise Removal, and it also supports VST plug-in effects.

Blender is a free, powerful, open-source 3D computer graphics program. It can create 3D drawings, models, animated graphics, and games.

CDex

CDex is a tool to do all sorts of things audio related. The KDE Non-Linear Video Editor is a powerful, non-linear video editor designed for Linux. It also works well on FreeBSD and MacOS. A Windows version is also under development and is available for download.

LeoCAD

LeoCAD is a 3-D CAD program that uses bricks similar to those found in LEGO® sets. Currently it has a library of more than 1000 different pieces. Available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
